Condolence: I am so upset that I am not able to be with you this weekend to say goodbye to my very dear friend Shirley.
Myself along with others have some wonderful memories from Malton of our days with the 4th Malton Scout and Cub Group. Shirley was always there in the middle of us.
We have kept that friendship aglow over the years and now our children take our place.
Myself and all our family send deepest sympathy to you Lloyd and Colleen and Brett, and all your loved ones and may Shirley be there watching over you all so you may never be alone.
With love and hugs to you all. You are in ourthoughts and prayers during these difficult times.

Never was there a day that went by where grandma didn't have a bowl of candies on the table, cookies freshly made or a home cooked meal on the go! My grandmother was an amazing women who has left a big part of herself with the family. Couldn't thank my grandmother enough for everything she's done & taught me.

Condolence: Shirley Hancock was one in a million.

Always ready with a kiss hello, a smile, a dish of candy on the coffee table, a meal in the oven and toys for her grandkids to play with. Relaxed conversation, some comedy (but I am not sure it was meant to be comedic) between herself and Lloyd, some matter of fact information about the on goings in the neighbourhood and salt of the earth advice to your real-life dilemmas. Leftovers parcelled up to go at the end of a visit, more kisses and hugs.

Shirley Hancock – one in a million mother-in-law, grandmother, friend. So happy to have been close to you. Always in our hearts.
