Hancock, Shirley Victoria (nee MacPherson)
Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Monday, October 31, 2016 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of Lloyd Hancock. Dear mother of Colleen and Brett Hancock. Mother-in-law of Keenan Sheppard. Cherished grandmother of Taylor, Jordan, Mitchell, Jessica, Genny and Aaron (deceased). Remembered by her siblings Jessie, Iva, Anita, Roy, Parker and Sydney. Shirley will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to Heasdwaters Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Shirley in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
