Mike and Lorraine Humphreys

Condolences to Brent, Peggy, Erica and Curtis on this sad day. She had a great run and enjoyed life. They were many days of laughter at old 89 McNicol Ave. Helen always with a smile and her famous giggle she always shared. Her and George (Reg) had there fair share hardships in there life with the loss of both her older boys but you would never know it. She was a very strong and proud of her family and many friends. I felt i was one of the lucky ones of those friends. When Brent and I were sitting in the kitchen one morning she showed me a note that Brent a left her a number of years back he was going tobagganing with Mike but had spelt it wrong. He had left his note on one of her recipes she still had it thank god for spell check as i would have spelt it wrong today. Helen and George raised very 3 strong willed children in Mark Ian and Brent all were going after different things in life which i believe is what we all want for our children. With my daily visit in the mornings with Brent being my last stop to pick up prior to walking to school back in the day. She would share news of the day with us all. Sorry i can not attend the service on Friday but it will be on my mind for sure. Remember all the fun times and laughs you all had in memory of Helen. Mike and Lorraine Humphreys
