Condolence: Jack, you will always have a special place in our family's heart because you were a wonderful mentor to our son Dylan when he was taking his first steps into the working world. Jack and Fran were Dylan's first customers for his Walsh Crescent lawn cutting business as a 14 year old. You were so patient with him as you explained how you liked your grass cut. He learned great customer relation skills from you, the importance of good workmanship and enjoyed your heart to heart talks afterwards. Patient, kind and fair is how he will be remembered by our family. Sincere condolences to you and your family Fran.

Condolence: To Fran and family,
Both Jack's and your smiles, positive attitude and faith always brought Christ's light and hope to everyone who encountered you. Oscar delighted to spend time with both of you and always came away refreshed. My heart understands this bitter-sweet moment for you Fran and your entire family. What a loss for us but what a gain for heaven. One day we will all be together worshiping before His throne. What a glorious day that will be but here on earth, my heart aches for you all. With love. Sandra

Condolence: I will always remember Mr. Harper praying with me to receive the Lord Jesus Christ into my heart when I was 8 years old. He gave the invitation at Richview Baptist Church in Jr Church. Mr. Harper knelt with me in the prayer room and shared scriptures with me so that I could know Jesus intimately and this has been life changing for me. This took place almost 50 years ago this fall. Through Mark and Colleen we have kept in touch and Mr. and Mrs. Harper have been an example and encouragement their whole lives and I will ever be grateful for their prayers for me and my family. I am so grateful that we do not grieve as the world grieves because we have hope and we know we will see Mr. Harper again rejoicing with all our loved ones and right now he is in the great cloud of witnesses cheering us on. What a comfort and what a joy and what a wonderful Savior Mr. Harper introduced me to!!! Love and blessings to you all.

Condolence: "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants." Proverbs 116:15
'Faithful servant' describes Jack so beautifully. What a precious man he is and what a godly example he and Fran together set in life …
… their faith so beautifully expressed esteeming God's Word as true, Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, and knowing, loving and serving Him together was supreme to all else
… their marriage wrought with mutual love and respect
… their deep, deep love for their family
… their love and acceptance of all others
… their prayers for so many expressed together with unwavering belief that God would hear and answer as they agreed in faith believing
… their trust in God's goodness and thankfulness to Him despite personal pain or difficult circumstances
… their desire to share with others God’s love and as He enabled, the Good News of Jesus’ perfect life, death and resurrection that they too might know abundant life here on earth and eternally with God in Heaven
Our world was a better place because of Jack Harper. Heaven now rejoices at his ‘home coming.’
May Jack’s life and passing continue to richly and eternally impact all who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing Him and beyond. Our prayer for God's peace which passes all understanding to guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:6, 7) will continue to be with you.
Yours in Christ who is our hope and with much love,
Tim, Ann, Dane, Katie, Matthew, Michael, Janet, Rachel and Abby Stevens
