Peacefully at home on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Adelle. Loving father of Gwenda Soloman (Richard), Trudi Neabel (John), Jamie Hamelin (Rene) and step-daughter Stephanie Lebrun (Lester) and his grandchildren. He will be lovingly remembered by Jim and Jessica Ruth and their family and his sister in-law Jean Dolan.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 1 p.m. until time of the Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Private Family Interment, Alton Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of James in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
