Passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Thursday, November 7th, 2013 at the age of 72. Vivian is survived by her three children: Eric, Stephen and Jennifer, her brother Bill and sisters Leona and Jaqui and her former husband Bob.
A Memorial Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First St., Orangeville, ON on Thursday November 14th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service time.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ken Derksen, the staff and doctors of Headwaters Health Centre, South Lake Cancer Centre and Princess Margaret Hospital, Lesley Barron and her colleagues at CCAC, Josephine and her colleagues at Closing the Gap, the volunteers of the Canadian Cancer Society and the staff and volunteers of Bethell Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bethell Hospice or the Orangeville Food Bank.
A tree will be planted in memory of Vivian in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 14th, 2014 at 2:30 p.m.
