Best Friends For Life

Maureen and I meet when we were 12 years old, we did everything together for 6 years.  We were the two tom-boys of the mobile home park were we lived.  We climbed and fell from trees.  We were always together any chance we could,  during our teenage years . We told each other everything, and secrets were never told.  Moe was never going to get married but she did and had three beautiful, wonderful girls.  We may have lost touch over the years but whenever we came together it was like we had never been apart.  I will miss you so much.  I am sorry that over the last years we never got together but I always thought of you and how much fun and touble (?), as per our mother's we used to get into.  You  taught me what it was to be a good friend and never judge anyone.  I know that your life was not easy and you were sick so much over  the last few years but you never seemed to let it get you down. Even when we had not seen each other for a few years we ended up living a block away from each other.  I always will remember you as the person who sat beside me in the school bus and stood up for what was right for people who could not.  Rest in Peace my dear friend.  I will always remember you in my prayers.  No one could ask for a better friend and pal.
