Speers, Margaret Irene (nee Demmans)
Peacefully at Bethell Hospice, Inglewood on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the age of 85. Dear mother of Dianne French and Ron and his wife Pat; predeceased by her son James, her daughter Susan and her great-grandson Lukas. Cherished grandmother of Glenn (Wanjugu), Grant (Mary), Michelle (Vince) and Treena, Trever, Travis, Tyler (Arianna). Special Great-Grandmother of Damien, Taylor, Emily, Alexis, Jacob, Jaylyn, Cooper, Cameron and Cole; Great-Great-Grandmother of Sahar. Remembered by her sisters Jean MacIntosh, Muriel Colgan and Grace Prior. Predeceased by her brother Alfred. Margaret will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, Ontario on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Mono. Memorial donations to Bethell Hospice Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Margaret in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
