Peacefully at Avalon Care Centre on Monday, December 8th, 2014 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Mary. Loving father of Harvey (Tammy) and Laura (Dave). Cherished grandfather of Joshua and Miranda. Dear brother of James (late Ellen), Joe (Susan), and Robert (Cathy). John will be greatly missed by other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of John's Life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 233, 7 John St. Orangeville on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
A tree will be planted in memory of John in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
