i was very sorry to hear about the passing of Eddy . We were quite good friends and hung around quite often together back in the early 60's. In those days I had the use of a car and he did not so we often used to cruise around various places together. When I left Orangeville it was late 1962 and although I often visited back there Eddy had since moved away and we lost touch with each other. I ran into him once at a mutual friend's place for about an hour or so when we were in our early 30's. I often wondered what ever happened to him. In 2018 I was able through a mutual friend to get his phone number from his brother Spence and I called him up. We had several phone calls back and forth that summer and I then visited him at his home in Shelburne. We talked all afternoon , catching up and had a great time, even doing some archery practice in his back yard. i was very impressed with his art work and hobby of making bows , arrows and other items. When we went out for lunch Eddy commented it was just like old times when I was driving and he could not, as he had recently had vision problems and his drivers licence had to be pulled. We talked on the phone several times since then and I was hoping to get back for another visit but unfortunately increasing health problems for Eddy , prevented us from finding a suitable time. My condolences to Bev, and the rest of his family.
