Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Catharina (Ena) DeVogel can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Peacefully at Shelburne Residence on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Aalt (1994). Dear mother of Margie Morey (Drew), Jeannie DeVogel, Fred (Karen), Susan Troch ( Bob) and Cindy McQueen (Paul). Cherished Oma of Jason, Chris, Erin, Becky, Andrew, Tara, Sarah, James, Ryan, Shawn, Jamie, Matthew, Stephen and Jacob. Great-Oma of Emma, Janessa, Mieke, Nevin, Liam, Everett and Charlotte. Ena will be remembered by her sisters Jeanne Brandes and Cora Glebbeek and her brothers Piet (Wil), Rien (Ans), Jan (Elly). Ena will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Christian Reformed Church, 50 Blind Line, Orangeville on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Ena in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
