Suddenly at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Lynda (nee Shean) for 41 years; loving father of Michelle Benoit (Jayson), Blair Des Roche (Amy), and Rodney Pinkney (Michele); dear Papa of Tiffany, Brittany, Alexis, Brody, Courtney, and Alexandria; great-grandfather of Preston; loving brother of Debbie Cowton (John), June Kratky (Dereick), Pam Clarke (Brian), and Cheryl Phillips, and Rick Des Roche. A dedicated truck driver and horseman for many years. Darrell will be missed by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

A tree will be planted in memory of Darrell in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 14th, 2014 at 2:30 p.m.
