Betty was a loving grandmother not only to her family but to ours too. Our daughter, Meredith, posted this on facebook when she heard of Betty's passing: "Just got the news that a family friend passed. There are far too few good people in the world, and we just lost one of the best. Thank you Betty for always being kind and joyful and patient with little girls who must have driven you crazy. I love you and I will miss you." Expresses our thoughts exactly. Our love and prayers go out to the family and Karen especially. Consider yourself hugged. We will all miss Betty's shining example of a life well-lived. May she be at peace with Elmer in heaven!
