Peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on Monday, September 14, 2015 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Aafke Bus. Dear father of John (Patricia) and Charlotte Maloney (Steve). Cherished grandfather of Lauren, Jesse, Dustin and Holly. Remembered by his brothers William (Alia), Eize (Trein), Gosen (Reina), Jus (Jannie) Pete (deceased), and his sister Aaltje. John will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 2:00 -4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11:00 am. Private Family Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orangeville. Memorial donations to Headwaters Health Care Foundation, Kidney Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of John in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
