Arthur

Well, Arthur, it is sad to see you go. We first met trying to figure out how to make grass grow on our adjacent back yards in Malton. That was over forty years ago. I do not think the grass ever really grew, but our friendship did. Through fishing trips, dinners, you protecting Monique from the mice at the cottage, and the odd “purple Jesus party”, we did have some fun.

One thing I could never figure out—how you could be such a lousy player at the game of  “Risk”? Oh well, I guess no one is perfect. Other than that, you did pretty well.

Over the years, our respective lives, as often happens, meant that we did not see much of each other. It was wonderful to recently re-connect with you and Monique in Florida. It was like old times. Rest in peace, my friend.
