Condolence From: LYNNDA and Robin King
Condolence: Dear Steve, I had been trying to reach Carol for several weeks to see how she was doing and - dreading this - I “googled” her name on the Internet. Steve, I am just devastated to hear this news and I want to extend my deepest condolences. Carol was a saint, I had such admiration for her strength and kindness and her sense of humour. I hope her final days were peaceful and you were able to say your final goodbyes - she loved you so much and I know she will live in your heart forever

Condolence: Carol had a deep, rich sense of humour, and a full, genuine laugh that warmed my heart. She was my dad's girlfriend in the last several years of his life, and truly brought out the best in him. I am so grateful that she was his partner throughout my grandparent's last, difficult days as their health faded. She selflessly and calmly helped my dad care for them, and I know that wasn't easy. Carol was incredibly brave and faced challenge head on. She became one of the family so naturally, with such sincerity and presence. She helped my grandparents and everyone around her with selflessness and strength. And then that included my dad in his years long final battle with cancer. Even though she suffered inside, as we all do, she stayed grounded, strong, and full of good cheer. She loved with a full heart. She was firm when she needed to be, and totally self-possessed. Carol was nobody's fool, and yet never jaded or cynical. She was as worthy of respect as anyone I ever met. She loved her family fiercely. She was truly, deeply kind. She put everyone around her at ease, because she was so good at just being herself. We had wonderful conversations and deep laughs up at the cottage. I will miss her very much.

Condolence: You were always a source of strength, one of the strongest women I’ve known, selfless, courages, witty, and above all kind.

You helped raise me, literally. Always there throughout the years, always one to offer a shoulder, always, and without judgement. I’m certainly going to miss you here, definitely a void without your presence. I know you’ll be reunited with our loved ones before you, and take solace in knowing you’ll be reconnected with them.

Steve, I’m so incredibly heartbroken for you, you were her life, her true confidant. Please remember that she is never far from you, that she is always near.
