It is with profound sadness, Joyce’s family announce her passing at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on Sunday May 6 2018 after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma, at the age of 50. Beloved wife of Deoraj (Randy) Chuniesingh. Cherished daughter of Nandlal and Monica Sampath. Loved sister of Ancilla (Peter) and Lystra. Loved aunt of Ornella and Antonio. Caring godmother of Isaiah, Emma and Noah. Neice of Sheila (Clement), Roysie (Pamela), Carol Alan), Mano, Goular and many more. Beloved cousin of Franklin, Aldwin, Eric, Sharlene, Sarah, Daughter, Dolla, Mary and many more. Fondly remembered by many family, friends and colleagues. Joyce grew up in Claxton Bay, Trinidad until the age of 18 and then emigrated to Canada. Prior to falling ill, Joyce was a valued employee at Supply Chain Management (SCM) where she worked for over 20 years. She loved music, fashion, shopping and most importantly, spending time with her loved ones. Joyce will be deeply missed but forever remembered as a loving wife, caring daughter, warm aunt, devoted godmother, proud sister, respected cousin & niece and cherished friend.
Family and friends may pay their respects at a public viewing at Orangeville Pentecostal Church ( 556 Broadway Avenue,Orangeville, ON on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.- Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Cremation ceremony to follow at Evergreen Crematorium (230 Ontario Street South, Milton, L9T 2M9). Reception to follow at Joyce and Randy’s home.
A tree will be planted in memory of Joyce in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
