Simpson (Priester), Vera Jane (nee Moore)
Peacefully at Caressant Care, Arthur on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the age of 104. Beloved wife of John Priester (1962). Dear mother of Evelyn Rennick and her husband Roy (2016), Bob Priester and his wife Lois, Perrie Priester (1960) and John Priester (1998) and his wife Barbara. Cherished grandmother of Robert Rennick (Janice), Greg Rennick (Connie), Michael Rennick, Mary Little (Rob), Nancy Noble, David Priester (Jen), Reg Priester (Lisa), Pam Humphrey (Rod) and Ron Priester (Judy). Loving great-grandmother of 12 and great-great-grandmother of 2. Remembered by her friends Linda and Mike Carter. Vera will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Vera's Life will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, Ontario on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations to St. Mark's Anglican Church or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Vera in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
