Peacefully at Avalon Care Centre on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the age of 92 . Beloved wife of Gord. Dear mother of Paul McConnell (Kim), Bev Aikins (Ralph) and the late Marilyn Amos (Bruce), and the late Wayne McConnell. Loving step-mom to Dianne McCormick (Danny), Deborah Henderson (the late Roy) and David Courtney (Wendy). Cherished grandma of Tammy, Kelly, Bob, Jeff, Brad, David, Jason, Paul, Holly and Justin. Also survived by her sister Laurene and brothers Clarence, Glen and Raymond. Jessie will also be greatly missed by all other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army Church, Orangeville or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery in the Spring.
A tree will be planted in memory of Jessie in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
