Plea for basses in the choir
I remember in the 1990's when Bryan and Joan retired from the choir at Westminster United Church, and Bryan gave a heartfelt request to the congregation for more men to sing bass in the choir and help to fill his old part. He had a wonderful, rich voice, but needed to stop singing to preserve it. (Joan directed 2 of our sons in the handbell choir, and I still ring those bells.)
