Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Friday, September 21, 2017 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Luisa Laganis. Dear father of Alfred Jr., Maria, Tony, Louisa, Cathy (Rob), Willy (Pauline). Cherished grandfather of Amanda, Kimberly and Jared (2015). Great-grandfather of Nathan and Erik. Remembered by his sisters Maria, Hermina and Radica. Alfred will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Mass will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 42 Dawson Rd., Orangeville, on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Alfred in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
