Jorgenson, Elsie 'Mabel' (nee Thomson)
Peacefully at Avalon Care Centre, Orangeville on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Morris Jorgenson. Dear mother of Pam Copeland (Wayne 2011), Ken (Marguerite) and Wayne and James (Cheryl Johnson). Cherished grandmother of Chris (Debbie), Shannon (Ryan), Tyler, Nolan (Katie), Shakira and Alexandra (Taylor). Dearest GG of Avery, Sydney and Olivia. Predeceased by her siblings Jim, Sadie, Bill, Alexia, Murray, Donald and Joyce. Mabel will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, Ontario on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Mabel in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
