Suddenly at Trillium Health Care, Mississauga on Monday, August 28, 2017 at the age of 64. Dear son to Martha and Wilfred Vogtlaender. Loving and protective big brother to the late Jurgen Vogtlaender, Edwin and Barb and loyal friend to many.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 14 Cemetery Rd., Orangeville, on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 12:00 p.m.

A tree will be planted in memory of Bernie in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com

Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again. Don’t think of me as gone away my journey’s just begun, life holds so many facets this earth is only one. Just think of me as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days or years. I haven't really left you even though is seems so, I've gone to my Heavenly home, and will always be closer then you know.
