Suddenly at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Gloria Byers. Dear step-father of Lorrie Byers, John (Sheri), Jim and Perce (Rachael). Cherished grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 4. Remembered by Mary Hammond. Ray will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Ray in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
