Obituary for Barbara Lynne Hick-Dargavel (Hick)
Hick-Dargavel, Barbara Lynne (nee Hick)
Peacefully at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Bob Dargavel. Dear mother of Olesya. Cherished sister of Sharon (Jock McAndrews), Mary (Bernard Sirois), Maureen Gaudet (Paul), Robert-RG (Uli), Elaine and Rusty (Julie Renwick). Predeceased by her parents Helen & Russ Hick. Barbara will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the Orangeville Curling Club.
Memorial donations to Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Barbara in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
