Walden, Verna May (nee Gilhooly)
Passed peacefully at Leacock Care Centre, Orillia on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Wally (C.E.H.) Walden. Mother and best friend of Heather, formerly of Orangeville. Always a prairie girl at heart, Mom loved nature, camping and bird watching. She will be missed and never forgotten.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.

A tree will be planted in memory of Verna in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
