Suddenly on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the age of 23. Beloved son of Suzanne and Carlos. Dear father of Cameron. Cherished brother of Matthew and Mark. Loving grandson of Kenneth and Judith Hurd. Loved nephew of Brett Hurd, Grace (Hussain Jawad) and Jamie (Jorge). Shawn will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

A Celebration of Shawn's life will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First Street ,Orangeville, Ontario, Saturday April 8th at 7:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Memorial donations to a Trust Fund for Cameron (cheques made payable to Suzanne Rodrigues) would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Shawn in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
