Ferguson, Helen Elizabeth (nee Thompson)
A wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Thursday, January 19, 2017. Beloved wife of Donald Ferguson. Dear mother of Sabrina Campbell and her husband John, Michelle Glassford and her husband Rick and Drew. Cherished grandmother of Derek (Jaclyn), Drew (Samantha) and Jake (Jacqueline). Remembered by her sister Mary Thompson. Predeceased by her sister Ruth Thompson. Helen will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends. A special thank you to Dr. McKinnon and the nursing staff D-Wing at Headwaters Health Care Centre for their compassion and care.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to Headwaters Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Helen in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
