Mooney, Diane Carol (nee Thomas)
Peacefully surrounded by her family, after an 11 year journey of early on-set Alzheimer's at Wellington Terrace, Fergus, on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the age of 66. Beloved wife of Jim Mooney for 47 years. Dear mother of JoAnne (Richard) and Suzanne (Andre). Cherished grandmother (Nana) of Megan and Daniel. Diane will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the care providers and nursing staff of the Wellington Terrace for their exemplary care, nurturing and compassion.
The family will have a special celebration in honour of Diane at a later date.

Memorial donations to either the Wellington Terrace Nursing Home or the Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Diane in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
