Condolences

Condolence From: Andy Jenkins
Condolence: I am very, very late with this! I just discovered Rons passing and am sad. Sad that I had lost touch with a friend and good person. Ron and I went to University of Western and had many memorable times. I could always count on Ron when life got bumpy which it always does. The reason I was thinking of Ron is because he carved a totem pole for me which I still have at a cabin in BC. I was looking at it and remembering all those late nights at the Wheat Sheif Tavern in Toronto. Thought I would try to look him up but am late. I still have those memories. If this makes it to his family and kids and they want to contact me that would be special.

Condolence: So saddened to hear about Ron Munro from a former colleague. He was an outstanding sales manager and taught me about customer psychology when I was a western rookie sales rep at Nelson in the early 90's. I still remember his 10 commandments of committee selling! He was honest and gave constructive feedback to his sales people. I was surprised and moved at the last day of our Nelson sales conference when he sang a beautiful song with his guitar.
Ron was such a presence and a force in this world. I am sure that he is content and at peace in the next world.

Condolence From: Sue Beaudoin
Condolence: I worked with Ron at both Nelson Canada and again at McGraw Hill Ryerson but didn’t realize then that there was a whole other side to Ron: the musician, gardener and carpenter.
I am grateful I had the opportunity to know both sides of Ron and from him I have learned that happiness comes from pursing the things that bring you joy.
My deepest condolences to Megan, Scott and Ron’s family and friends.

Condolence From: Town of Grand Valley
Condolence: The Town of Grand Valley is sorry to hear of Ron's passing. Ron was an integral part of developing an Economic Development Committee for the Town, which branched out to a sub-committee to further develop a strategic plan for the Town. Ron's green thumb played an important part of our downtown beautification with his gorgeous hanging baskets. He will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathies.
