tribute to Grandma

My Grandma was a very special person, not only because she is my Grandmother, because of the person she was. She was a woman who was loved by so many, she was a sweet caring and gentle soul.. devoted to her marriage, her family and to her faith. From a very young age I have very fond memories of her, her soft voice her smile and how her eyes just sparked she had a way to make you feel special even when you may have done something wrong.. You could sense love when you where around her, always.. She excepted you the way you where, regardless.. She was always kind to those around her, never said a bad thing about anyone. As a family we got together alot, we had a closeness that was really beautiful... From holidays, celebrations of all types to just a Sunday after church.. and sometimes just because.. meals around the table were always great, from the food to the laughter.. and there was a lot of laughter.. as she did enjoy a good joke too.. I am grateful for her, as she was strong in her faith, she lead many of us to our faith and beliefs.. she remained devoted threw good and bad.. even to the end, when her final days with us where hard, she continued to pray and thank God. I could go on for hours about all the memories and stories we shared.. there are so many. I think you would agree that She was a very special person who lived a life with meaning full of LOVE, FAMILY and FAITH.. She lived her life with meaning.. and lived it well.. For a woman who liked to travel her journey has just begun.. she will live in our hearts forever, till we meet again.. Connie xo
