I never knew how quiet hospitals got. Yet it was just enough to see you again, to be around you and family, to listen to everyone's hearts and sniffles and laughs and cries, I felt the love so strong as we stood and waited as time went by. I sang to you, Amazing Grace. You sang with me and I have never felt more proud to be able to sing and show you one last time. You held my hand and looked into my eyes, I hope you liked it. I promise to keep singing for you and everyone else. I hope you had heard me say I love you before I left yesterday. Now you have closed your eyes for good, I hope you're finally at peace where you belong with more people who love you on the other side.
