Suddenly at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Kathleen (Kaye) Vinson. Dear father of Ken (Susan 2014) and Laura-Lee Gombik (Glen). Cherished grandfather of Michele (Lukas Parker), Alek. Brother of Bob (Dixie), Ted (Bonnie-deceased). John will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Memorial donations to Sick Kids Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of John in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
