Obituary for Barbara Genge Hill (Darnley)
Hill, Barbara Genge (nee Darnley)
Peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at her home in Orangeville at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Fred Hill. Proud mother of Robert of California (Caroline), John of California, Todd of B.C. and Kelly Muth of Elora. Cherished grandmother of Josh, Jesse, Avery, Delaney, Arthur and Conrad. Barbara will also be greatly missed by her sister Thoma Darley of Tillsonburg and her sisters-in-law Ivy Riddell and Beatrice Brough (Alex), all of her nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Orangeville Rotary Foundation (High School Bursary) would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Barbara in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
