Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Friday, July 15, 2016 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Laddie Moriarty of 53 years.Loving father of Karen Dixon (Michael 2006), Kevin (Sarah), Colleen Davids (Tyrone), Marie Dennison (Craig). Cherished grandfather of Jonathan, Zachary, Hayley, Connor, Nicholas, Alyssa, Madeleine, Sean and Callie. Dear brother of Dolores Kelly (James) and brother in-law of Lynda Newman (Robert 2007). Gerald will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 42 Dawson Rd., Orangeville on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Mono. Memorial donations to Canadian Food for Children would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Gerald in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
