It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Darryl Johnson (48), after a courageous battle with cancer. Darryl passed peacefully on Monday, June 27th surrounded by his wife, family and loved ones. Darryl is survived by his loving wife and soul mate Terri Lynne (Wood) Johnson; his parents Peter and Nancy Johnson; sisters Angela, Kristin and Lisa Johnson; in-laws David & Terri, Adam, Kathie (Jeff) & Tom (Malissa) Wood; nieces and nephews Chase & Scotlyn Johnson, Emerson, Trystan & Kiera Wood; lifelong friend Greg Landriault; his Queen’s Cove family; and his trusty companion Meadow. Cremation has taken place as per Darryl’s wishes.
Darryl was the owner, operator and visionary of Connectivity Solutions. He was a self-made professional respected by his peers and dedicated to his customers and a job well done. When he allowed himself down time, he rarely sat idle. Darryl lived life with zest. He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved nature and all creatures great and small. He was involved in a variety of activities such as hunting, fishing, travelling, boating, scuba diving, and snowmobiling to name a few.
Darryl always had a moment for others, be it to lend a helping hand, petting a four legged friend, or a tube ride for all the kids within ear shot. Darryl gave of himself freely and willing. Darryl’s soul and spirit touched many people. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial donations to the Ontario SPCA - Orangeville would be appreciated by the family.
