Harrison, Dorothy Ilene (nee Wallwork)
Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Bert Harrison. Dear mother of the late Richard and Barry Harrison. Cherished grandmother of Douglas (Mary-Ellen), Shelley (Ernie), Tamara (Bill), Gregory (Jenny) and Taylor. Loving great-grandmother of Joshua, Mason, Allyson, Keaton, Reilly, Nathan, Brady, Amberly and Reed. Remembered by her brothers Norman (Betty), Howard (Harriet) and Raymond (Beverly) and her sisters Roma (George-deceased), Joan (Bob-deceased), Margaret (Ted) and their families and her sister-in-law June (Tom). Predeceased by her brothers John, Neil, Bill and sisters June and Wanda. Dorothy will also be greatly missed by her special friends Phyllis and Sharon, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment - Shelburne Cemetery. Memorial donations to Scleroderma Society of Ontario, Canadian Diabetes Association in honour of her sons or the Heart & Stroke Foundation in honour of her husband would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Dorothy in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
