Margaret (Peggy) left us peacefully on April 21 2016. Margaret was a loving wife to husband Donald, mother to Ann James, David, John and Alan, a grandmother and great grandmother to her ever growing family and was a substitute mom and teacher to hundreds of the grade three children she taught in Baie Comeau, Quebec. She will be remembered for her gift to all the children who knew her for the time she spent reading out loud to them. Many still mention her reading “Charlie And The Chocolate Factory” long before it became a movie, the favourite book of all was Charlotte’s Web by E. B. White. Margaret preferred not to have a service, no flowers, but instead please read a book to a child or just to yourself, it will be a fitting tribute to Margaret, a loving, caring, mother, teacher and friend. A tree will be planted in memory of Margaret in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
