Melen, Dora (nee Greason)
Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of Jim Melen. Dear mother of Reg (Rosemary), Pat (Sybil), Don, Larry (Diane) and Elizabeth Black (Greg). Cherished grandmother of Sarah (Martin), Paul, Lynsey (Keith), Jimmy (Laura), Maggie, Brennen, Jerilyn, Adam, Cameron (Ashley), Alysha, Lauren and Braeden. Loving great-grandmother of Emmanuelle, Peyton, Sydney, Gracie and Cole. Predeceased by her brother Donald Greason. Dora will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 2:30 pm. Reception to follow. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Dora in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
