The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Diane Phillips can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

I Will Miss You

Diane and I sat either together or one in front of the other.  She was like a mother to me.  I suffer from various medical problems and one is the constant problem of a dry mouth.  This made speaking and singing quite difficult at times.  Every week however, Diane would reach into her pocket and hand me a candy every time she saw me struggling.  It became a funny little game between us.  I would ask for a candy and Diane would always answer, "you know I have them".  She was a special and wonderful lady and I cherished the time we had together.  My life will be forever blessed for having known her.  Diane will be missed not only by me but by so many others from our church.  Cross Roads has been deeply wounded by her passing.  Having said all this, though, we are comforted by the knowledge Diane was baptised in the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour and now rests in His arms forever loved and protected.  I am honoured to share my Baptism date with Diane and will forever miss her smile, hug and words of wisdom.  This world is a llittle darker without her but Heaven is that much brighter to have her there.  God Bless you Diane and may he keep you forever loved in His arms.
