Peacefully at his home in Orangeville on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Grace (Barratt). Dear father of David, Sheila Praught (Gary), Randy, Jimmy (Deceased), Karl, Marlene Jackson (Ken), Robert and Lynda Ribeiro (Mervyn). Remembered by the Barratt family: Mike (Bernice), Kerry, Judy Barratt, Rose Barratt, Margaret Neal (Rob 2014), Paul and Peter (Linda); Loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Gilbert (Marian) and Ronald (Fay). Cal will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army or the Ontario Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Cal in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
