Pamela Mary-Joan Chatfield
Chatfield, Pamela Mary-Joan (Payne)
Our family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our truly loved Mom, Gram and Great Grammy. Pamela Chatfield passed away peacefully at Dufferin Oaks on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Frank Chatfield and the late Frederick Payne. Dear mother of Jeffrey Payne ( Beth), Randy Mackin (Tom), and Sharon Payne. Predeceased by a son John Payne and daughter JoAnne Cleck. Cherished grandmother of Steven, Jason, Jonathan, Bradley, David and Jeffrey. Also survived by 15 great-grandchildren. Pamela will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Pam will be remembered as someone who looked at life with optimism and joy. She loved interacting with people and was a great listener. She was interested in the lives of everyone around her. She loved to laugh and would often have a funny comment to say. She loved children and spent many years as a preschool teacher. Pam volunteered at Caledon Central P.S. for many years as well. Mom loved books and could often be found reading throughout the day at Dufferin Oaks, Mom had a positive outlook on life. She always showed appreciation to anyone who helped her in any way. She had a kind heart and thought of others before herself. She had a great deal of integrity and looked at life as a gift.

Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m.
