Hale, Jean Alexandra (nee McDermid)
Peacefully at Dufferin Oaks on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of Jack Hale (2004). Dear mother of Fern and her husband Wally. Cherished grandmother of Kate Macdonald and her husband Craig and Trevor Pugh and his wife Amy. Special great-grandmother of Abigail, Amelia, Caelan and Claire. Predeceased by her brother Ken McDermid. Remembered by her sister-in-law Maria McDermid. Jean will be greatly missed by her nephews David (Bev), Gord (Marilyn), Robert (Brenda) other relatives and friends.

Memorial Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., with a time of remembrance at 3:30 p.m.
Remembrance and burial will be held on her beloved Manitoulin Island at a later date.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Jean in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
