Tarto, Tonu (1941-2015)
Tonu passed away peacefully at his residence in North Bay on Saturday November 7, 2015 at the age of 74 years. He was the beloved husband of 50 years to Jacqueline (nee McNamee). Dear father of Michelle Tarto, Trina Henderson (Bill) and Laurie Tarto-Harnett (Ryan). He will be sadly missed by his 4 grandchildren Nathaniel Tarto-Bagley, Linden and Emery Harnett and Leo Henderson.
A Memorial Reception will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, Orangeville, ON, on Saturday November 14th, 2015 from 2 - 4 p.m. Memorial donations to the M.S. Society or the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Tonu will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Tonu in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:30 p.m.
