Peacefully on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Headwaters Health Care Centre at the age of 76, surrounded by his family, John returned home to his Lord and Saviour. Loving father of Dan Doolan (Laurie Ann), Lisa Michaud (Rob), Gabrielle Molyneux (Ian), and Stephanie Maiuri (Rick). Cherished grandpa of Maureen, Carly, Jacob, Joshua, Zachary, Ben, Noah, Danielle, Luca, Leo and Chloe. John will also be greatly missed by his extended family, many friends, as well as his AA family.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 1:00 pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Down Syndrome Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of John in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
