Surrounded by family, Al passed away at Headwaters Health Care Centre at the age of 69. Beloved husband and best friend of Sharon for 45 years. Loving father of Tamara Reso and son-in-law Jeff Reso. Cherished grandpa of Danica Reso. Brother of Zelda Thomas (Doug) and Zody Knapp (deceased). Uncle of Arlene Thomas.
A teacher in every sense of the word, he was inquisitive, decisive and a pillar of strength for those he loved.
Al wasn't one to stand on ceremony. He did not want a funeral service and would rather be remembered working in his garage on his motorcycle, car or some other project.
A tree will be planted in memory of Al in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
