Obituary for Diane Grace Kerr (Moser)

Diane Grace Kerr (Moser)
Diane Grace Kerr (nee Moser) went to be with her Lord and Saviour on June 26, 2015. Diane held in her life time many titles: daughter, wife, mother, grandma (to be), sister, sister in law, aunt, friend and to a lucky few; best friend.

Diane was a rare and beautiful person. She was one of the very few that anyone would count a privilege to know. It could be sincerely and accurately said that she consistently and without exception placed the best interest of others before her own desires, wants or needs. There was no dishonesty in Diane. She believed with her whole heart the teachings of Jesus Christ and walked that belief in deed and action every day of her life.

Among the many that thank God for the opportunity to have known Diane are her husband Jim, daughters Adrienne (Colin Parrish), Erica (Graham Bryan), Jamie, her son Scott, sister Louise (Murray Dunnett) mother and father in-law Albert and Millie Kerr and numerous sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Diane will at the time of this reading be enjoying her first cup of tea in glory with her mom and dad; Grace and Bill Moser.

A Memorial Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. All are welcome, but no one should feel obligated to attend. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Fellowship of Baptist Churches in Canada would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.

A tree will be planted in memory of Diane in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:30 p.m.

Dianeâ??s final thoughts to all that loved her would be wholly contained in her favourite scripture; â??Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understandingâ?- Proverbs 3:5
