WILSON, George Alexander
Passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015 (three weeks shy of his 90th birthday) with family present, at Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville. Beloved husband of Jeanne (63 years); proud father of sons Scott, Mark (Donna), Shawn and Brad (Denise); devoted grandfather of Alex, Jessica, Rachel, Megan, Kate, Elias, Shane, George, Sebastian, and Josiah. Predeceased by siblings Jean (Pickard), Mary and Fred. George lived life to the fullest and was known for his tremendous sense of humour and his love of people. He will be greatly missed.
Family will receive friends at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 and & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
Special thanks to the nurses at the Dialysis Unit who lovingly cared for George over the past two years. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Headwaters Health Care Foundation, Dialysis Unit.
A tree will be planted in memory of George in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
