Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Tuesday, June 16th, 2015 at the age of 87. Dear father of Brigitte McConnell and her husband Robert Service and George and his wife Maria. Cherished Opa of Michael, Stefanie and Andrew. Survived by his sister Anneliese and his brother Klaus (Dagmar). Remembered by his special friend Edith. Guenter will be greatly missed by other relatives and friends.
Memorial Visitation will be held in the reception centre at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First Street., Orangeville on Friday, June 19th, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bethell Hospice Foundation,
A tree will be planted in memory of Guenter in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
