Mikulik, Mabel; WWII R.C.A.F. Veteran
Peacefully at Dufferin Oaks in Shelburne on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the age of 94; beloved wife of the late William John (1982); dear mother of Ron and his wife Lynda, Deborah Slattery and her husband Terry and Susan Hymus and her husband Gerry Knight; predeceased by her grandson Paul and her son-in-law Mike Hymus; cherished grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 15; survived by her sisters Ethel Bonner and Joan Klausmann. Mabel will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First St., Orangeville (519-941-1392) on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Dufferin Oaks (Music Memory Program) or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Mabel in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
